Aro Digital is on a mission: to help our online community build their understanding of the ins and outs of digital marketing.
To reach our goal, we created Aro HQ – a new Slack channel we created to digital marketers, entrepreneurs, and students alike.
Why are we doing this? We want to support other digital marketers and entrepreneurs by creating a platform for accelerated learning and sharing ideas. Aro HQ is a place where everybody can share content that will educate other channel members and ultimately, increase New Zealand’s digital marketing skill-sets!
Currently, we have 8 different channels for members to share their pearls of wisdom:
General:
This channel is the community sharing space for awesome content, digital marketing tips, industry news, and maybe a few cheeky memes.
Random:
Surprisingly, we digital marketers have a sense of humor too – this channel is for people to express any non-work related jibber-jabber that might generate a little chuckle.
Search:
This channel is for all things search-related. On this channel, you’ll find relevant articles and tips and tricks that will help you to learn more about search digital marketing practices.
Social:
Dedicated to everything social media, including; Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit and so on! On this channel, you’ll find useful articles, updates, inspiration, and advertising tools that will help level-up your social media marketing practices.
Tools:
On this channel, you’ll find tools that people find the most useful in their day to day digital marketing work. These can be anything from chrome extensions to keyboard shortcuts, that overall save you time and improve your digital marketing efficiency.
Viral:
This channel is where you can give a shoutout to content, blogs or articles that you or somebody you know has created, and we can go and give it the social proof love it deserves!
Inspiration:
This is the channel where you can share or find social media/search engine ads, posts, emails, or any other creative digital marketing promotions that have inspiring content and creatives.
Events:
Want to spread your feelers and get stuck into meeting new people? This channel is where you can find or share events in and around Wellington, so you can get to networking and grow those LinkedIn connections!
Aro HQ is an excellent way for you to expand and improve your marketing and meme wisdom whilst helping support New Zealand’s growing digital marketing and entrepreneurial community – plus, we’ll be sharing all the juicy resources and tools that usually use internally.
