Float Well

Perfect for: A range of people including creatives, people in need of some ‘me’ time, expectant mothers or perhaps a sporty family member or friend, looking to soothe those tired muscles.

Entrepreneurs Kevin and Samantha set up Float Well in Wellington after being absolutely mesmerized by their own experiences with floating.

Floating is a form of sensory deprivation, where the water is largely made up of Epsom salt which enables you to float effortlessly in your heated, soundproof pod. Floating offers every individual something different and the benefits range from muscle recovery, relaxation, stress relief, sports recovery and magnesium absorption, right through to enhanced creativity and a better night’s sleep.

This gift is a unique and unforgettable experience. There’s even the option to float with a friend or partner!

I think that The Decorator Exchange in Kelburn village should be on your list. They sell second-hand high-quality, quirky, design-led collectibles that are perfect for gifts.
