Who doesn’t love a juicy podcast? Not only are they the ultimate multitasking companion, but they are a fantastic way to gain new insights, sprinkle a bit of inspiration into our lives, and help focus your direction. 


Today I’ll list my top ten digital marketing podcasts covering a range of different topics, from attribution to Zapier and everything in between. Whether you’re plugging away at Looker Studio or smashing out a campaign build in Meta Ads Manager, there’s sure to be something great in here for you. 

1. Call to Action by Unbounce. 

Length: Typically around 20-30 minutes long

Listen On: Apple, Stitcher

Note that Call to Action ran from 2015-2017 and ended on a hiatus, but if Fall Out Boy can come back after three years there is hope. So what do they cover? The answer is a lot. Most commonly they talk about topics surrounding pay per click (PPC) campaigns, conversions and optimisations, lead generation, content marketing, and landing page design.

  • This episode focuses on how A/B testing ideas can come from unexpected places. They deep dive into the benefits of landing page optimization and how important it is to your customer journey experience.

  • As someone who dabbles in the many worlds of D&D, this episode really resonated with me. Guest-starring Ian Lurie, CEO of Portent Inc, he discusses his perspective of looking at the marketing journey through Dungeons and Dragons. Lurie talks about the importance of creating context around touchpoints. By adding subtle context to the “world” around the customer (or player), the customer journey can be significantly altered.

Growth Marketing Toolbox brings you interviews from the folks who make, market, and use digital marketing tools. They specialise in landing page design, A/B testing, and conversion optimisation. This well-produced show has some big league marketers and some interesting perspectives that makes it definitely worth an ear or two.

Voice Search Marketing

  • One of my favourites, this episode discusses what marketers need to know about voice search and its implications for search engine optimisations (SEO) and rankings. Olga Andrienko, Head of Global Marketing at SEMrush is a guest host and talks about the experiments that SEMrush has been making on the differences between voice search and typed searches, and how marketers can leverage voice search, and opportunities that exist for marketers to capture.

Sponsored by Pinterest, Geek Out talks to the big names in marketing and discusses the latest news in the social media realm. This high-quality show is a lot of fun to listen to and has a strong radio vibe, making it perfect for listening to while commuting or cooking! Because it’s sponsored by Pinterest, each episode gives tips and tricks on how marketers can best use the platform.

  • In this episode, listeners get an insider's perspective from Instagram’s Head of Product, Vishal Shah. They dive into the reasoning behind Instagram’s removal of the likes count and an overview of how decisions affecting the user experience are tackled.
